ripped off from morgsge co. lied to

my mother passed away 2 yrs ago i paid on two houses in my mothers name i didn't have the to start probate the mortgage co. new that so i paid for 1 and a half yrs i was going to let the house in Arkansas go that's when a man named Gus that was in charge of my mom account called me n said don't let that house go in to fore closer i told him i couldn't afford both he said if i did they would demand me to pay the house in ca. off he then said don't get three months behind that when they start fore closer so i took the ca. payment n paid ark. house for two months after that i said i cant pay both n let ark.house go in to fore closer so i got the up for ca. house it was o most three months behind so i call them to find out how much i owed with the late charges that's when they said they cant talk to me if i didn't start probate so then i remember Gus name n called him i told him i had all three months of money he said he would run it by in a meeting that day n call me the next day he never did n they stared fore closer so by them stating that i didn't start probate i thought i had no right so they sold my moms house n ripped me me and my brothers of for 53 thousand that was in equity is there any thing i can do im still in the house my number is 951 286 9067 i need help please

Hi catfram,

The mortgage company can foreclose the property and sell it off if they do not receive the payments on time. As he did not receive the payments from you, the lender foreclosed the property. The lender will recover as much debts as he can by selling the property. He is not liable to give you any money or equity that was in the property.
