| I have a mortgage. Can I get assistance from Section 8. Or is the home ownership program just for new home buyers? |

Hi Patty,
As far as I know, normally the first time homeowners will get assistance from Section 8. People who have existing homeownership may not be able to get this assistance.
Thanks |

Hi Jimbob,
You can contact your lender and apply for a loan modification. If the lender accepts your request, then you will be able to save your property and get a better payment plan to pay off your mortgage. _________________ Procrastination is the enemy of your financial success |

Im buying a house owner financed. I find it harder and harder to make it with the cost of everything going up. Ive never received section 8 before and was wondering if owner finace with the other criteria meet if I can still receive section8 mortgage vouchers. |

Hi Guest,
Though I'm not sure but I don't think owner financed properties will qualify for Section 8. Nevertheless, you should contact the PHA and take their assistance in this regard.
Thanks |
