My name is Dianna Ramos . i will like to about my application section 8 application status.

I would really like to know the status of my section 8 application. I applied a few years ago. I have a prospect number. But I don't know where to go to check it.I went on hacla.org. But i don't see a link to check status. I also would like to just update my information because I now have a 4 or 5 yr old.

Hi Chula,

You will have to contact the local housing authority with which you applied for section 8. They are the right people to approach to know the status of your section 8 application. You will also get details of how to update your information on the application. I don't think you need to re-apply just to update your information.

sorry, dianna, but i just have to ask this: are you not certain of the age of your child? 4 or 5?

i went to hacla.org myself - i see there's a "contact us" link. have you tried that?
please follow jenkin's advice. your local housing authority is the place to start.
