My husband and I hold a mortgage on a piece of property. The purchaser is no longer able to pay, and is willing to convey the property back to us. What real estate form would I use to title it back in our name, and release a recorded mortgage. We live in the State of Florida. Thanks for any information you can give.

Welcome Phyllis,

A quitclaim deed will help you in getting the property transferred in your name. As far as the mortgage is concerned, you'll have to refinance it in your name.
