I bought a house that was new from an owner .the house was under 1 year old .do I get a warranty

If you are, then I believe there should not be any problem in getting the warranty coverage, since the house is not even a year old. As long as the system components and appliances in the home are in good working condition, you can get coverage under home warranty.
