Hi hoeaboutit,

The laws of the state, in which the property is located, will be taken into consideration when you default on the mortgage payments. Before signing any agreement with the lender, you should check out the terms and conditions. If possible, you should even contact an attorney and request him to go through the agreement and make you understand the terms and conditions.

Thanks
