Hi Melinda,

the 1st thing you should do is listen to your inner voice, if you are not comfortable going with that company then back off. As far as the company reputation goes sometimes its hard to judge.

Check it out if the company is a BBB Member and check about us page and try to find more information about their site. Yeah, do check their privacy policy also. I was looking for some information on that company for you, i came across one forum also where people has given a mixed feeling about the company.

I am with you as a friend and our community is with you.

Dont worry, if you feel like not going with that company then dont go.

We are with you.

Thanks

Adonis

Hi, Melinda

I have also started a review of SJM Marketing so that our community member can also share their experience.

Thanks

Hi,

Back again with some more information I collected on the company you asked for.

Adonis has correctly pointed out that the company doesn't have very good reputation with its customers. I too found on a forum where customers complained about its services and honesty.

Many of the customers had a bad experience with the company hit with the unauthorized debits and some pointed pout that Ellis Crosby is doing business under the name of this company.

I suspect Platinum B is a company who are engaged to debit and credit your account under SJM. This Platinum B is considered as the worst collection agencies by some.

You can try this phone number 1-866-722-2770 and Fax 1-866-599-5161 to contact them. Since I had some negative remarks about the company while searching for the information, I shall advise you to verify some more information on them and be careful.

If you find anything uncomfortable with this company, then come out at the first instance.

Wish you good luck.

God bless you.

For MortgageFit,
Samantha

I have doubts about the real existence of this company.Confused Their activity is funnier than me I suppose with their customers searching for them in vain.

Hi,

I am scared to see the posts here. I have a loan and lost my papers due to some mistake. Every alternate payment is going out from my account.

I want to put an end and pay them off. There is no response from their side. Should I close my account to catch them?

Hi Dave,

I feel you are thinking in the right direction. You should close your account to stop SJM marketing and force them to contact you.

For any excess payment made you can take legal help and ask them for a refund.

I have some information to share.

Platinum B Services also know as E PayDay. PB will debit & credit your account under SJM.

Platinum B tops the list of worst collection agencies at dealing with the consumers. They collect the phone numbers from anywhere and keep harassing people.

They try hiding themselves behind a personal mail box and regularly violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They love to threaten people with actions that they will never possibly take. You should be very careful if they call you up because they try in every way to take out personal information from you. They also target on the minors and try to intimidate people.

I have a loan with SJM marketing since 2004. I have paid too much money so far as I find my personal record. I failed to make a contact with them so far. Situation is grim for me.

Hi,

It's better to block your account and lodge a complaint with the local attorney office. Also you may report the matter with BBB.
