If you ahve good credit and goodincome you can look at conventional loan, if the vavlue of the loan falls with in that limit

Hi Sethboy,

If you are looking to purchase a house that is in need of some repair, I think an FHA 203k loan is the way to go. You can do small or moderate repair using the 203k loan. You will not be required to take a separate loan to make the purchase and another loan to do the repair. You can take just one 203k loan and purchase the house and do the necessary repair. Your credit is also more than sufficient to get you approved for an FHA loan.
