My name as well as my partner's name is on the deed. The property is free and clear. Can I take out a loan on my half without my partners signature?

Hi Guest,

You will be able to take a loan in your name provided you have a good credit score and income. However, you cannot take a loan on a portion on the property. The lender will consider the whole property as a collateral for the loan.

Thanks
