My mortgage broker has written out an application with the following fees for 140k loan:

400 to broker by me
700 to lender by me

4300 to broker by me - but credited somehow due to the interest rate or something. ??

Rate 5.25 - APR 5.5

The 4300 bothers me, even though its I think a kick back from the bank that pays it? not sure. Is this a good deal? 4300 seems excessive whether I pay it or not.
