hi,

If you have a credit score below a 580 it might be extremely hard to get a FHA loan in this current lending market. But there are other options when it comes to getting government loan.
but some banks will allow a FHA loan to go through with a credit score below a 580 if the bank or mortgage company gets an automated approval

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

With a credit score of 540, you won't be able to qualify for a mortgage. In order to get a FHA mortgage, you should have a credit score not less than 580. Unless you meet this requirement of the lender, you won't qualify for a loan.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

I would like to borrow 20000 for a mobile home. I own my land, but my credit score is 567. Do you think it's possible?

Hi Guest,

Your credit scores are quite low. There are very few lenders who will offer you a FHA loan at such low credit scores. You should speak to the local lenders of your area and apply for a mortgage. They will let you know whether or not you can get a mortgage.

This community has a large number of lenders. You can seek a no obligation free mortgage quote from them and check out if they can help you in this regard.

Thanks
