The home is blocked on perm. foundation on private property with 2 acres separated for it. I am interested in doing a consolidation loan to pay off an unexpected medical bill and several small loans at finance companies. My credit score is not very high even though I have excellent local credit, due to filing bankruptcy back in 2002. The home is a 1998 horton and I'm looking to borrow approx 8-10,000.

With a bad credit, it will be difficult for you to get a mortgage. You should have a credit score of 700-720 in order to get a loan. If you do not get a conventional mobile home loan from your lender, then you can apply for personal property loans. These loans are available at a higher interest rate.
