My husband and I just legally separated, for financial reasons only - each to protect their own assets. Our primary residence is under contract, and we wish to buy a new home as tenants in common. Can we get a mortage together? Both have high credit scores, both have income and assets. Thank you

Yes. If income, assets, and credit isn't an issue. You won't have a problem getting a mortgage.
