I will be purchasing my first house in a month or too. Do i qualify for the 15k tax credit and get a loan through FHA? I heard they dont accept first time buyers? Correct me if im wrong. Thanks

Hi msnover,

As far as I know, the "new and improved" 15k tax credit is for all home-buyers. But you will have to live in the home as your primary residence for the next two years. If you leave the property before two years, you will not get the full credit.
