I purchased a home in April 2009. I also sold a home in 2009 that I owned for 5-6 years. I do not qualify for the extended long term housing credit for purchasing a new home because I did not purchase after Nov 3. Am I crazy? Are there other people out there with the same situation. Does anyone know if there will be anything in the upcoming months that suggest there is relief for the people that "fell through the cracks".

I also married in 2009 and my husband has never owned a home. We put the home in my name due to the credit rating. Could I possibly transfer ownership and then apply?
