Hello,

I have 3 credit cards, 4,6 and 7 months old.
I have no rental history or any utility bills on my name.
Fico score is 660

Can I qualify for a loan now?
Thank you

If you dont have any other history for 2 years, then you wont be able to get financing. You need to have 12-24 mos of credit history, if not credit history, you need alternative trades, such as utilities. Can you have a co borrower?

Hi sofiarus,

You should have 2 years of credit history and 2 years of employment history along with a good credit score in order to qualify for a mortgage. With a 660 credit score, you'll be able to get only FHA loan if you meet all the other required criteria of the lender. You won't be able to qualify for a conventional loan. Nevertheless, as Guest has suggested above, if you can manage a co-signer for yourself who has a good credit record, then you will be able to get a mortgage.

Thanks
