Hello, No you would not be able to remove a party from the mortgage unless you refinanced or sold the home. You can add or remove parties to the title of the property but not on the loan. If you wanted him off, you would have to contact your lender or another lender to refinance your home and remove the son. If you need help finding a lender, please contact me and good luck!

Hi platinumangell!

Welcome to forums!

You will have to refinance the mortgage in your name in order to remove your son from the mortgage docs and release him from the liability of mortgage payments.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
