Is there propgrams out there where people do the financing but on a property other then there own??? If so, Can you please tell me what I need to do to find them..thank you so much

Welcome bklyngirl,

As it's a property which is going through a short sale, you won't be able to qualify for a owner financing. However, if you co-sign for the loan, then you and your husband can get a mortgage. Did the banks give you any reason as to why they won't qualify you and your husband for a loan?

This community has a large number of lenders. You can seek a no obligation free mortgage quote from them in order to find out the type of rates and terms you might qualify for when you apply for a loan.
