Hi Guest,

As far as I know, social security income (SSI) can be used to qualify for a mortgage. However, laws may vary from state to state. You can contact the local lenders of you area and check out if they would pre-qualify you for a loan.

yes you cna get mortgage if the SSI incoem covers the needs and meets the guidlines

As I know, If you can chack mortgege of your nearby leander,than it compair to your problem. You can get mortgege if ssi incomes is neal.

you can use it as your income.

also note that social security income is not taxable. so you can quote 25% more

not so, gregg...some social security is taxable. suyog, i don't know what "neal" ssi income is...what's that mean?

and there is a lot more to acquiring a loan than simply having income. you need credit, with a qualifying score, and you also need assets. the amount of debt you have at present will also be a large determining factor in whether or not you can qualify for a home loan.
