Loan Officers License?!?

Forgive me for being dense, but i live in Maryland and have been looking on the internet to find out where i can get my lenders license.

I keep finding these online places and so on and so forth and i'd rather take the test in person. Can anyone in maryland or any other state point me in the right direction?

Hi deucewilliams!

To get a loan officer's license in Maryland, the applicants should have 3 years of experience in the mortgage lending business. They should also have completed any required courses for continuing education as required by COMAR.09.03.06.17 or they should also have completed 40 hours of classroom training and passed a written examination. Other than this, the applicants should also undergo a criminal background checks, pay various fees as well as meet other requirements as needed under the FI and 11-605.
