Hi ronalds,

I guess there isn't any time frame within which you need to file a mortgage complaint in any state. But the SOL or the Statute of Limitation is usually 6 years in Maryland.

The SOL is the time period during which any creditor can file a lawsuit against a debtor in order to retrieve the unpaid amount. So, what you're asking for is not the SOL but the time frame within which you may file a complaint against the mortgage lender.

I hope I could understand your query. Just in case you feel there's more to it, let me know.

Take care
