I had to move away from Michigan. My house foreclosed and was sold at a sheriff sale. I was able to sell it to a buyer as a redemption sale before the redemption period was up. Will the bank sue for the deficiency of the original mortgage?

Welcome Guest,

The lender has the rights to recover his loan dues in full. In such a situation, the lender can sue you for the deficient balance resulting from the property sale.
