How do I find builders/contractors who have defaulted on their loans...I have investor willing to help

I have a client who specifically searches for properties that are still in the construction phase (beginning or end) and is looking to buy multiple units at one time. How do I find out specifically new construction projects that haven't been completed by the contractor and are possibly looking to get out.
