My friend placed a lien on a property to keep it from being eliminated from the current property owners bankruptcy case as his civil action alleges that they do not or ever had legal title to his property.
My question is, where are the statutes that cover liens on property not claiming tax or construction liens? |

Check the Michigan property tax code if there is one. However, there may be more laws than that. If there is a civil action and a bankruptcy, there should be a lawyer with whom you can consult. _________________ Disclaimer: This is not legal advice and I am not your lawyer.
