johngka Joined: 20 Feb 2011 Posts: 1 1.28 Dollars($)	Posted: Sun Feb 20, 2011 10:26 am    Post subject: Uncapping of the property following quitclaim to family Like 0 Dislike 0 In Michigan, I have been informed that the property will be uncapped to a surviving family member after a quit claim deed is registered with that members name included. Will the Lady Bird law not allow this to happen when the original owner passes and it is willed to said family member?

Thanks
