In Michigan, my parents house has legally been transferred to all siblings equal interest. We live in different states and want to prepare our own individual document to give the house to 1 sibling. There is no mortgage or liens on the property.

What Michigan document do I use to transfer my interest over to the 1 sibling? And who do I file the document with?

Thanks,

DB

Hi DB!

Welcome to forums!

You and your siblings can sign a warranty deed and transfer your property to one of your siblings. Once you all sign the deed, it needs to be notarized and recorded at the county recorder's office at Michigan.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
