| I am bying a property in Michigan and live in Massachusetts. My bother put in the deposit check and planning on completing the closing under his name. Then when we the home is registered with the City and County, it will be under my name and he also will issue Quit Claim Deed. I am providing all the financing for the purchase. Is this process ok? |

Hi Fayssal!
Welcome to forums!
Yes, your brother can sign a quitclaim deed in your name and transfer the property to you. But you should remember that if there is a mortgage on the property and if its in your brother's name, then you will need to refinance the mortgage.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.

I don't know why you are doing this instead of the usual way. Make sure you have a contract that specifies all of this. _________________ Disclaimer: This is not legal advice and I am not your lawyer.
