My ex-husband is filing a quit claim deed to get his name off of the house, and I will be the sole owner of the home, what other paper work do we need to have to go along with the quit claim deed form, and where do we go to file?

Hi psmiley,

The quit claim deed is the document that your ex-husband needs to fill out in order to remove his name from the deed and make you the sole owner of the property. The deed needs to be recorded at the county recorder's office where the property is located.

Hi,

There are no more paper work without quit claim deed form, simply contact your attorney to file quit claim deed & after filing record it in country records to make it validate.
