hello,I have just sent in a letter to my mortgage company for a In Deed of Liue. They told me it would take them 30 days to review the in deed of liue and let me know if it would be approved. I just received a letter from them today stating they have sent the property to their attorneys for forclosure.what are my options from here?what happens to the money owed on the home if I sent the letter in for in deed of liue?

Even if the mortgage is in his name only and I am on the title and deed?

I did call the mortgage company on the home that I live in and they said so long as I make the payments there will be no problem. The also sugggested after reviewing my income that I can write to the main office and they will spread out the escrow payments to help with the monthly payment. This site is great, I know what I would have done.
  

3 different mortgages. I live in one house. I can afford to pay for that one but can liens be placed on it because my husbands name is on the loan not mine? I am on the title. I am talking credit card debt in his name only?

Hi Miller_st,Thanks for the response to my question regarding the DIL on 1st and 2nd mortgates. At this point, the mortgage company for the 1st mortgage is sending information about the DIL. I don't think I mentioned the 2nd mortgate to the 1st mortgate company but I was under the impression that they already know.gibbsm
  

the property in question was owned by ny grandfather -he left it to his one daugter and four sons who are all deceased - My aunt willed her i/5 to her nephew - he inturn did a quit claim deed to a non relative who is sueing all other heris for the porerty stating she has taken care of the vacant lot - structre on te land maitained a chichen wire fence and cut the grass and paid the taxes
