Hi,

In Minnesota, a lender can sue you for the deficiency and get a judgment against you if the property sells for less than what is owed. I'm not sure how long after the sheriff sale, the lender can come after you. Check with a foreclosure attorney in Minnesota. He can help you avoid the deficiency judgment.
