My two nephews and I own 40 acres of land in Missouri. I have a half interest and they each have a fourth interest. I want to give my interest to them. What is the best way to do this?

Hi Helen,

You can use a quit claim deed in order to transfer your share of the property to your nephews. You can contact an attorney and he will help you in drafting the quit claim deed. Once you fill out the deed, get it notarized and recorded at the county recorder's office. This will make the deed valid and complete the property transfer.
