I live in Missouri and I am not on our home loan with my husband but may be on the deed. What responsibility do i have?

Hi clallis,

As your name is on the property deed, you would be considered as one of the owners of the property. If your name is not on the mortgage docs, you are not responsible for the loan payments. If your husband defaults the mortgage payments, the lender will not be able to sue you for the loan.
