I live in Missouri and we recieved a default judgement against us on April 11. What is the next step? This was our primary residence and we are scared. We could come up with what we owe but, they are acting like they're gonna rip us and our daughter out in the middle of the night.

Hi jchaney,

As you can give up what you owe, you should contact the lender and offer the money in full. This will help you in stopping the repossession and you'll be able to get a release from the lien.

Thanks
