We assumed a mortgage, or so we thought, and have paid on it for 7 years. Found out our payment goes from escrow company to their mortgage company. Our name is only on escrow account. Need to finance in our own name

Once you refinance the mortgage in your name, you will become solely responsible for the mortgage payments. Thanks
