| would like to do some home improvements. My land and mobile home is paid for. Would like to borrow 5000.00 for 12 months. Land and home is worth 18000.00 mper tax records. Mobile home is a 1973 or 1974, 3 bedrooms, new air, hot water heater, all updates inside. Needs roof and porch. It is located East Texas at Lake Cypress. |

Hi,
It will not be easy to get a home improvement using your mobile home as security. The mobile home is quite old. No lenders would want to finance a mobile home built prior to 1976. This is why I think you should go for a personal loan. You can easily get a personal loan of $5000, if you have a decent credit and have the ability to pay it back. You can then use the money to make the required improvements on your home. You should contact your local lenders and check out if any of them can offer you the personal loan. |
