Does anyone have any experience working for them?

They don't have any rates posted on their website, and when I spoke with a branch manager about a position there, she didn't give me any interest rates at all, which really makes me skeptical about what products they can even offer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi socalloanguy,

Well, I don't have a personal experience working with them. But if they don't have the rates posted on their websites and can't let you know about the products, then it will be better if you could contact some other lender and apply for a loan with them.

I have not heard of Gateway mortgage, but I use Gateway bank to warehouse funding loans. Where did you get in contact with them? Make sure you check on any parties license that you start to work with by going to nmls consumer access, and keying in their MLO license number. That should be your first start in picking a lender, loan officer.

They're still very tight on disclosing any rates, but I did find out they're priced out higher than most other lenders, which I assumed because of their aggressive compensation plan.

Seems like a pretty reputable company, but there's no BBB rating, and I don't like the fact that they're not advertised heavily.

If you have your doubts, then it will be better if you could avoid them and look out for some other lender.
