do you need to record quitclaim deed at a county/city office. or do you simply have signed and executed in presence of a notary?
this is douglas county nebraska

Hi dkcharms,

It is important to record the deed with the county recorder's office where the property is located so the grantee's name gets listed as the legal owner of the property. Recording the deed is as important as getting it notarized.
