I live in California but the property is in Nevada. This is a division of property after a divorce. It will be signed in court, California. Any help or suggestions? Thanks...

Hi Robert,

Welcome to the forum.

I think "division of property" is same as Equitable Distribution. So the court will decide and distribute the share of the property between you and your wife. It can be less or more than 50 percent.

Best of luck,
Larry

I split this topic off of "Statewise Forms on Quit Claim Deed"

The judge will issue its judgment. The parties must execute the Nevada forms to transfer any property interests.
