If I purchase a home with my boyfriend of two yrs. my ex said he will take me back to Court and ask for a reduction or to completely stop paying child support for our two children. We live in New Hampshire. Can he do this?

Hi Wannamove,

Welcome to Mortgage fit,

Child support is given for the benefit of the child and thus even if you purchase the new house for yourself and your new boyfriend it is for your own comfort.Your Ex can not stop the child support amount just for that reason.

You can continue with home search...Nothing will happen even if he approaches to the court...

Feel free to ask any further query if you have..........

DIPA
