New Jersey 2nd mortgage loan charged off can they foreclose

ceramic04 Joined: 10 Apr 2010 Posts: 2 1.80 Dollars($)	Posted: Thu Nov 18, 2010 6:17 pm    Post subject: New Jersey 2nd mortgage loan charged off can they foreclose Like 0 Dislike 0 We worked out deal with 1st mortgage HSBC after 6 months for hardship program, paying that on time. Sent for hardship on 2nd mortgage HSBC several times they said never got it in the meantime they charged off 2nd . Our 2nd mortgage told us they found hardship letter but its too late they sent to collection they want all money up front . we cant pay and wanted hardship for reduced payment but it was too much. Can they now foreclose on these mortgages ? They are with same company. What can we do or what kind of lawyer to look for to help?
