Hi All -
My husband & I built a home in nj & paid cash up to this point. The town is being a pain & asking for us to do much more then they originally requested & we have run out of money & all of our credit cards are maxxed. Can we obtain a mortgage or equity loan with a temporary CO in the state of NJ??

I am really doubetful and strongly sense that there are hardly any chances for temp Co type housing to get a mortgage.
As you have already stated that your credit cards are messed and thus it would have surely resulted in minimizing your credit score.Frankly speaking I hardly see any chances for mortgage.but at the same time you can build your score over a period of time and then you will have better chances to get a mortgage.
