Are there any banks that still do a NIV or "Stated" loan in New Jersey for a primary residence? If so, can you tell me which banks, please. Thank you.

Welcome eileen,

As far as I know, there are hardly any banks who will help you with a stated income loan. This is because after the real estate crisis, most lenders have stopped giving such loans.

There are one or two lenders that do this in NJ. The most prominant one is for self employed only.

Are you self employed?????

Their are several lenders offering "Stated Income" loans in NJ but, if you're not self employed, you're probably out of luck.

Hi brian,

As far as I know, there are hardly any lenders who offer stated income loans to borrowers these days. Most of the lenders have stopped giving stated income loans to borrowers after the real estate crisis. The lenders will want you to check your financial stability and your income before offering you a loan.

Thanks

Yes there are a few lenders who will do this in NJ. You need to be self employed as mentioned above or even paid via 1099.

Guest, for the most part, "no-doc" loans are limited to California and several east coast locales. I've never seen a Nevada lender listed on any of the lists.
