looking for right to redemption laws for new jersey. house going up for sheriffs sale thurs and need to know how much time i have . can't get any answers local

Hi Guest,

As far as I know, borrowers are entitled to a right of redemption after the sheriff sale of the house. They can redeem the property if they pay off the outstanding balance on the loan plus the foreclosure and attorney fees. However, in New Jersey the borrowers have a time limit of only 10 days to carry out their right of redemption.
