Hi croninke,

You can remove your deceased husband from the property deed by filing an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office. Then, you can add your grandson to the property deed by signing a quitclaim deed. However, if your husband has left a will, then that needs to be probated and then the property would be divided amongst the heirs accordingly.

hi,

There are different ways to accomplish this, such as a with a quit claim deed, its a simple process. you can add your grandson to the property deed by signing a quit claim deed. However, this is really a legal issue and should not be done without consulting a lawyer.
to remove your husband from the property deed you should talk to an attorney before taking any action
