Do both people in title have to sign home equity documents for a home equity line of credit in New York State, Erie County.

Yes, if you hold title to the property you would at least have to sign the mortgage

Yes thats right , home equity documents has agereement so need to sign on both person.

Laws vary from state to state, but normally you cannot take out a loan against something without *all* of the owners signing for it. You can check with an attorney in your area for more information specific to your situation.
