Just going through paperwork with mortgage institution, had appraised home 245,000. now they said that cant finance because it was built before 1976. what do I do ? home is in broome county, New York 13787

Manufactured homes build prior to 1976 do not qualify for loans. Lenders are concerned about the life span of the properties and thus do not approve a loan for such homes. You should look out for other homes which are build after 1976 and apply for loans.
