How can I locate some Portfolio Lenders in the NY? Seeing alot articles but no listings.

Guest, the easiest way (not so easy after all) is to pick up the phone and call them. I suspect that most of those who portfolio their loans will be community-type banks and/or credit unions. Of course, with the latter, you must be eligible for membership in order to obtain a loan.
