| Dose the spose have to sign the mortage in New York even if they are not on the mrtgage loan?...We are closing a purchase in New York and the customer is married. Dose the Husband have to sign the mortgage? |

If the husband is not on the mortgage loan, then I don't think he will have to sign the mortgage.

Hi tcook!
I don't think that your husband needs to sign the mortgage if he is not on the loan. In case, you want to make him a co-signer or a co-borrower, then he is required to sign.
