currently I have own a COOP in Queens, NY. The shares are in my name and my mothers name. The mortgage is only in my name and line of credit in my name.

I want to take my name off the mortgage and line of cred and put her name on the mortgage and line of credit. How can I do this?

Hi corangin,

Your mother will have to refinance both the mortgages in order to remove your name from the existing mortgage docs. Your mother should contact the local lenders and apply for a mortgage refinance.

Thanks
