We received notice of foreclosure on the house we are renting in N.C. Our lease expires on 1/31/11 and the auction for the house is set for 2/28/11. Since we will not have a lease in place on 2/28/11, do we still have to receive 90 days notice from the new owner before we vacate?

Hi dlwgolfpro,

As you won't be having the lease agreement at that time, I don't think you will receive the 90 days notice from the new owner in order to vacate the property.

Thanks
